Letter from Emma Regarding Paula and Jose's Affair
June 1, 2007, a lady by the name of Emma Espinoza came to Robert's mother's home. She explained that she was Jose's wife. No one ever knew that Jose was married. She explained that Jose had fled to Honduras because he had been having an affair with Paula, and Paula was a minor. He had told her that Paula wanted to be with him and that she would have him put in jail for having sex with a minor if he testified for Robert, after Jose received a subpoena to testify as a witness to Paula's behavior. He saw how easy it was for Christine and Paul to set up Robert for an aggravated assault, so he got scared and ran. (we also have all this conversation on a recording). Jose did not care what had happened to Robert, but only what could happen to him. He fled to Honduras only after he was subpoenaed to go to court to testify for Robert.
The
possible theory we have regarding this set up, is that Paula knew that Christine
disposed of Baby Doe McClendon and held it over Christine's head to force her to
help her set up Robert or Paula would turn in Christine for disposing of the
