Justice Denied

There are times when people are not wrongfully convicted, but they are denied justice on the opposite end of the scale, when the evidence is very clear that there is a person that should have been punished for their misdeeds, but the District Attorney's Office denies the victims of these crimes the relief that they are so well entitled.  The victims suffer emotionally and financially from the crimes, while the perpetrator's actions are dismissed without examining other avenues and the terms of the law are ignored.

There was a story that was submitted for publication on the website and is a clear example of justice denied.  I wanted to bring this story to the public's attention to show that there are times when public officials deny prosecution of the perpetrator when it is blatantly obvious that they committed the crime, but will not do the time.
