Police Report and Trial Testimony Discrepancies

MISSING PERSON

Sara Marie Trent

Sara is 21 years old, is disabled due to spina-bifida.  She disappeared in the middle of an investigation, when sought for questioning by the Harris County District Attorney's office regarding the wrongful conviction of Robert McClendon.  If you have verifiable information regarding her whereabouts, contact us through email.  A reward is being offered.

Here is the police report that was filed on the original complaint, which states that Robert supposedly had Christine on the ground on her hands and knees, while Paula ran to the mobile home park office to call the police. (one note here, Paula ran past MANY trailer homes, I would estimate about 3/4 of a mile, to call the police at the mobile home park, while her mother was supposedly in danger(?) )

(Mind you, Paula never mentions that her mother, Christine, was on the ground on her hands and knees with a gun pointed to her head (during the protective order or the trial), but she sure remembered running down the street in her "pink fluffy socks", which was brought up at one point in testimony.  If anyone would like to see that, I will gladly put that up here too.)

In the trial testimony, you will see where the story changes.  The police report states the "hands and knees" incident happened at the end of the incident, but Christine states it happened at the beginning.  And get this, Paula doesn't mention it at all.  Now, I wonder what is the big hint here that it is all lies?  Better yet, meets the elements of the crime "Aggravated Perjury".  Maybe they don't understand elements of a crime, kind of like, arresting people under False Report to a Police Officer, they don't understand those elements either, which I believe it says "with the intent to deceive".  After reading all this, you can pretty well figure that Christine and Paula made a "False Report to a Police Officer".  But that's right, someone actually has to do their job and read to determine this.

Christine's Testimony

Here is some more trial testimony.  Paula says the police were not called on 9/14/05 (day before she falsely accused Robert of Aggravated Assault), but then her mother, Christine, testifies that the police were called.  Christine wins an award for at least telling the truth once, the police were called.

Paula's Testimony

(liar, liar, pants on fire!) Thought I would put it in "pink" for you, Paula, since that seems to be your favorite color.  We can also buy you another pair of "pink fluffy socks" since you sacrificed your pair to get Robert falsely accused and maliciously prosecuted.
