Robert McClendon Update

Listen to the Small Claims Recording!

First we would like to begin this update by thanking Judge William V. Yoeman, Justice of the Peace, Precinct 5, Place 2 of Harris County.  This man exhibited true professionalism in listening to the evidence and weighing the facts when others ignored clear and present signs of injustice.  He understood that the case was brought before him due to no other reason, but principle.  THANK YOU JUDGE YEOMAN!

When Robert was arrested, Christine Trent went to the Harris County Sheriff's Department, Precinct 4, and managed to acquire firearms that belonged to Robert prior to their meeting.  It was questioned during the court by Judge Yeoman how she managed to do this when there was no signature present from authorized personnel, namely another judge.  A call was made to Precinct 4 questioning why the firearms were released to her and it was stated because she was a resident of the household and all she had to do was present identification, but there was no question as to whether the firearms actually belonged to her.

Roger McClendon, Robert's brother, filed suit against Christine Trent for the firearms.  He presented evidence to the court reflecting ownership of the firearms, the same evidence that the Harris County Precinct 4 Sheriff's Department failed to acquire prior to releasing the weapons to Christine Trent.  Judgment was for Roger McClendon against Christine Trent for not only the firearms, but for the court cost as well.  Roger explained to the judge, that it was not the value of the firearms that brought him to court, but the principle of the matter, and in this case, principle/justice prevailed.  This will be one of many battles that Christine Trent will face.  Roger has made it a mission to bring this woman and her daughter Paula, to justice, in one form or the other, to pay for the false accusations made against Robert and for destroying his life.
